Sergio Calatroni Sergio Calatroni is a graduate of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Since 1975 he has been working in a variety of fields including architecture, industrial design, interior design, graphics, corporate image, creative management, communications and journalism. The powerful influence of his encounter with Oriental culture can be seen in the many forms of expression he has mastered, in the essential, sculpted and simple elements of his work. His designs exude purity, in a never ending pursuit of the origins of shapes. His works have been exhibited in major Italian and international museums and, since 2004, he has been a lecturer at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He has worked with Pallucco Italia, Zeus, Barovier & Toso, Pozzi e Figli, Vilca, Sisal, Metals, Alessi, Glass Design, Nippon Alumi and Shiseido. He also created “Wave”, “Village”, “Piedigrotta” and “Lapis” for Gabbianelli. |
